Well after yrs of getting away with it...finally I except that I put myself in freaky situations all the time... Go Big or possibly never go home... is what I'm thinking!!!  Last yr got knocked off my yak by a seal :smt003 this yr a snapped paddle and both times all by my lonesome which I have every confidence in but goretex waders are made for "banking" not way out on the Salty Blue...  I like to "not" marinate in my pee in my 7mm suit and that has been my excuse up till now...

been perusing the site looking for info on dry suits and have found several threads on them...I remember a thread few months ago where everyone was chiming in and can't find it now, should have bookmarked it for later...

T3 SuperNova Angler Paddling Suit looks pretty sweet any comments???

It's a great suit as far as comfortable but I'm a little disappointed with their service policy/quality.  Got water leaks in my booty after the first year and they charged $30 to repair which leaks again after another 6 months.  Now it's in for the rubber seal torn off at the wrist and not sure how much they'll charge this time.  Not sure if this is normal wear and tear thing!

Curious to hear more from others because I'm hard on gear... wondering if you got a lemon sonny??? I read Z wore one and would be interested of the life of the suit... Bought a 300 dollar simms goretex waders that lasted 10 yrs with heavy use...bought a pair of field and streams goretex for half that they didn't last a yr...bought at Dicks sporting goods they traded them in for a new set with 20 bucks but I guess u get what you pay for...Sonny what was the cost of your suit???

I recalled it's around $600 with 20% discount from Clavey.

I've been lucky dealing with them about my Tempest pants. They actually replaced both feet for free. But then
again, I paid $150 for them to put in a relief zipper.

Holy Moly!  I think I'm just going to continue refining my "pee into a water bottle carefully" routine...

Btw, my tempest pants will be going into warranty repair soon (feet area is getting  water in)... hope everything goes smooth...

Call Clavey 707-766-8070 Tom, Jeff or Scott. NCKA discount applies. Tell em' Craig sent you. Im not paid by Clavey in any way. They are just my hometown paddle store and are very nice guys. While this suit is not a real dry suit with Gore-tex it kaept me dry and warm with the proper underlayers at Shelter Cove this year when people were falling by the wayside.

+1 on this.

I even wore mine down in La Jolla and was never too hot. After you get used to the neck ring you forget you even have it on.

And after fishing in waders for 4 years it's nice to finally be able to piss again out there, instead of having to hold it for hours.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Sledge this suit will keep you dry on the kayak. Its made of the Tropos material that is waterproof. It will leak a bit if you are submerged. It has gaskets at the neck and wrists.  If you venture out alone in cold water on rough days this might not be the suit for you. The full dry suits with Gore-tex are going to cost quite a bit more.

Thanks Craig...was planning on throwing down a bit for that fact... when I look back at some of the things I've done (a lot recently) and I get an uneasy feeling it's time to get with the program...I'm thinking it's like when I read post after post of yard sales and never really batton things down and lost a freakin boat load of stuff... I'd rather get prepared before it happens...let's hope not...but "What if"  reading the post from AbKing bout his bro in Humbolt...that resembled me also...So easy to rememdy...it's easy to keep doing the same old things...

Thanks for the info will most Definately put it to action...counting the days to RBCII bro u up for the Mega Bet???...with just a few it could get large...with your skills your a shoe in.... :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Lady Luck has quite a bit to do with it. We are coming up real early on Sat am. Im down for the side bet big time. Pick the suit you might want and try it on somewhere. If Claveys carries it I'll see about a deal. You are right though. In Ore. no tax is like already getting 10% off.
