swell is as low as it can go...the wind will drop below 5kts tonite. the bite has been slow in the am, but picking up on the outgo(go figure?).
I am feeling a 2hr+ O'dark:30 whiteknuckler up north to:

~Take advantage of a midweeker at Timber Cove?

~Ocean Cove? doesnt this place charge alot $$ and gets hit hard by the campers?

~ Salt Pt./Grestle cove?

anyone get the same memo from Mother??

Timber Cove is $8 per person for a kayak.
Ocean Cove is $7 day use fee and $8 boat ramp fee. Not sure if they would charge a kayak for use of the boat ramp but that is the only way to launch there.
Timber cove is a much easier launch although I have never fished from there.
Either way I am there.

Mother didn't whisper go fishing to me last night but she did put on a fine moonrise for me as I drove down Bear Creek Road last night to get Quinn back.  :smt007

Sounds like you are gonna have a good day tomorrow!!
I'm still walking, so I'm sure that I can dance...

Don't you love it......?

Occasionally my wife will "suggest" I go fishing, like right now.

Usually it mans I am so far descended into stress/insanity mode that I cannot be self-aware.

I always say OK, and leave immediately, even if it is for unproductive surf-casting.

Usually works, too.  Even if I don't get more sane, she thinks I have, and is less hyper-sensitive.

I'm not arriving tonite, that was just an idea for you in case you got an early start. I will be departing the mancave at 445am.
