Unreal. Hard to understand it all, from just reading about it.  Very sad.

Shannon, that is the most gut wrenching horrible news I've heard in a long time. I'm not looking forward to my next dive. Very very sad.  :smt010

I was hoping it was a localized Fort Ross/Timber Cove incident. Shannon's description is far far worse. Are there any reports from the Fisk Mill/Stump Beach region?
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

This sounds so f'ing tragic...I was really hoping it was not gonna be this horrible, and would be an isolated, small scale event...

Jim

Jim,

We all did, but it appears to be on a much larger scale. Stay tuned. Headed out tomorrow or Sat morning to do some assessing of my own. Folks are starting to get out and reports will begin to funnel in pretty quick here. Some of the other sea life may be able to bounce back in a relatively short time, but not the abs, by a long shot. When such significant members of a food chain are wiped from the map, the effects continue down the line, a long, long distance. Hope for the best, but realize the worst.
