Wow, Allen looks like you guys had a great time. Bill's face in the first pic tells the whole story. And his last hali was HUGE!     :smt007     You got to love that NW fishing.

More pictures please!

Kind of makes everything around here seem dull doesnt it? Thats the trip for me next year. No AOTY= money for epic trips. Thanks Allen for the boost in the right direction. Craig. Bring some home?

You said that about Mexico last year.  :smt002

If you go to Alaska next year on this trip I promise I will go with you. I already have the drysuit!

And that looks scary. I wouldn't even want a ten pound 'but floppin' around between my legs.

Did you guys do any rockfishing?

We would rock fish when we got bored or had to duck out of the weather. The coppers and quilbacks are so thick that if I didn't hook up in three bounces I would reel up b/c my gear must be fouled. I think I caught 25 rockfish on one big hammer before a fish finally ripped it off the hook!

We caught a few yelloweye but tried to avoid them. The few we did catch were eaten for dinner.  :smt003

Truly a trip of a lifetime! If you want to go next year I believe Howard only has 2 spots remaining. Jump on them FAST!

I would be afraid to pull one of those guys up...especially with it's mouth near my crouch.
