End of Season Sales

Having scoured the boards I've seen a couple times folks mentioned great deals at teh end of the season.  When does that usually occur?  I"ve also been told, that 2011 boats prices drop when the 2012 boats come out - will the 2012 boats come out this year or next?

A brand new boat will usually come out towards the end of the year before it.  For example, 2012 boats should be out towards the end of 2011.  Give it a couple months and you will probably be able to find a decent price on a 2011.

Also, look for potential rental gear sales as Fall closes in. Some kayak shops may want to sell off used gear before the winter.

I know here at the Headwaters Kayak here in Lodi, we are already starting to sell off some of our 2011 demo kayaks, as well as a few used and consignment kayaks. I have about roughly 10 sit on kayaks ranging from 8-15' on closeout right now. Feel free to PM for a list of boats.
