Great photos, Mooch! They have me really jonesing  :smt026 as my dad lives literally a block and half from that launch!

He bought a Pgymy kayak kit a month ago, I wonder if he's finished it, yet. :smt003  When he does, I might have to encourage him to have some kind of "emergency", so that I have to fly down and fish; oops I mean "help" him out!  :smt002

Thanks Pisco! The more I spend time at Monterey, the more I fall in love with the place!

I especially want to thank Pat and Randy for letting me stay at their Place at Marina -  Saturday night (15 minutes North of Lovers Point). I really enjoyed their hospitality!

nice fish! they seem to be in earlier in shallow as well. thats my favorite spot to look for them! congrats!

Sounds like Battle Royale!  I could almost feel the adrenaline pumping.  Always fun to fianlly get a giant fish to the side of the boat and then havebe challenged in getting it IN to the boat!

So glad it worked out...also love the tap-tap-tap description.  yeehaw.
