Hey all I'm camping at lakehead burney and wiskeytown from now till Friday 3 2 day legs, any info on bank fishing spots to take the kids would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time in the area.

This may be to late but,
Lakeshore drive to the open camping area for catfish.
Baum Lake near Burney, stop @ the tackle shop in Burney for more info.
Whiskeytown, make sure you have a day pass / camping pass, park on Hwy 299 just pass the Visitor ctr., take trail down and fish inside ( east ) of the cold water curtain, or drive to the power house ( west end of lake ) they sometimes stock Brook trout there.

x2 to what Tim said.  Hat Creek is also heavily stocked up near the campgrounds and provides great mid-week action.  Crappie bite on Britton should be on too, great for the kiddies.
