Great build up.   Boat looks great and I think it's going to be an awsome fishing machine.

+1...      Geenius- Whiz,  you did more in two days than I've done in 6 months.     Nice !    I like the fit of the cart on the back pontoons.
The problem with using a lap skirt to get through the surf zone is going to be timing...   Not much time to jump in and fiddle with setting a skirt over your lap.  I'd forget about it.  if you take a big wave,  you'll just have to pump out once you're through the surf zone.  The boat will remain afloat and stable.    Paddle like Hell !!!   I've only used the skirt a few times fishing in Winter to keep warm.  I mostly used it just to keep out rain when transporting on top of  my truck.
So far, all the times we've gone through the surf at Capitola it's been minimal amount of water... nothing a starbucks cup couldn't handle...   so far !
I'll be looking forward to the reports after the party.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Ask Jim for a carbon fiber seat especially for you bro or you could make a flag pole out of your stash of carbon fiber.   :smt003

He's knowns I'm eyeing that....  :smt010 :smt010

Anyways.... FINALLY DONE enough to bring it to Albion.

Finished plumbing the wires for the electronics. When every there is a possible of exposure which could cause corrision, I used marine grade wires and connectors; including the heat shrink connectors and then coated with dioelectric grease before sealing with heat shrink.

Also installed an electric sump pump which is triggers by a temporary manual rocket switch up front; this pump setup can be easily converted to a livewell pump by merely unscrewing the hose at the base of the exhaust port. Which I opt'd to port out through the base of the gimbal rod mount.

And that's it! Now time to work on the trailer...... :smt009 :smt009

then load up!!!! :smt005  and then ROAD TRIP!!!! :smt044

See you guys all soon!!

Talk talk talk...     You better produce some  fish now ,   A J     :smt003

Glen,
Larry said he's taking you on the next  Shad Flyfishing  trip with us,  I guess you made an impression.  THAT's who you need to talk to about the Carbon Fiber...  or switch over sections from his yak.    ( trade )

I hated switching from the " faux carbon fiber"...  but it  drops about  $ 150 dollars off the MSRP    was very pricey stuff... too many complaints about it being too hot in the sun, or cost too much...    Gotta " Balance the Budget "  ! :smt005    Sad to see it go...  :smt010
I've done some vac/ infusion with C F  before. Have the equipment here to do it.   Let's make up a set of real Carbon Fiber after you get back.
With all that hardware you've added,,, the weight savings would be worth the effort.    Plus it would look  SICK with that Red colored hull.

Good luck with your trailer...  I spent all day  replacing the bearings on mine...   Man I was lucky they didn't crap out on the road.    water / corrosion ,
ugly in there.    New tires, bearings,,, ahhh the budget.

   BTW,,,   the title "  Veloci-Raptor " ...    That's SICK !    :smt044
