Chabot home of my first real Kayak Fish

Went to Chabot early Sat morning, got on the water with Moodymike at about 6:15am.  By 6:45am got this largemouth.  My first real kayak fish, (the trout that shook the hook and the baby large mouth both from Berryessa didn't count because I was just bringing in trolling lines).

got the largemouth on a white rappala.

Congrats! It only gets better from here on  Welcome to the madness!

They get easier the more you fish from a kayak.

I still remember my first yak fish (wasn't long ago at all) 

And I remember my first unplanned swim off the yak as well 

I just wish I had found out about this kind of fishing years ago. 





 

Nice fish!  Well done getting that first fish to the yak.  I'm sure you will get many more!
