Went to Chabot early Sat morning, got on the water with Moodymike at about 6:15am.  By 6:45am got this largemouth.  My first real kayak fish, (the trout that shook the hook and the baby large mouth both from Berryessa didn't count because I was just bringing in trolling lines).

got the largemouth on a white rappala.

Congratulations rroland! Nice first.

They get easier the more you fish from a kayak.

I still remember my first yak fish (wasn't long ago at all)  :smt003

And I remember my first unplanned swim off the yak as well  :smt005

I just wish I had found out about this kind of fishing years ago.

Nice fish!  Well done getting that first fish to the yak.  I'm sure you will get many more!

Congrat on your first "real" fish rroland.  Thank you for the report and picture.
