While I'm on the board tonite, I thought I post this.  I read on some other site that you should always super glue your rubber tails to your leadheads.  The site said that it will increase your hookups because many times on first strike the fish pulls the tail down.  Then he won't come back for a second chance with the tail all curled up at the end of the hook.

I thought, yeah, that's actually happened to me a few times, so I bought a bottle of super glue and took it along with me today.  Sure enough, the glued tails stayed up - and I was able to repair many of my torn up ones.  Next I'll try gluing different ones together to make a Frankenstein swimbait.

The super glue came in super handy for another reason:  I had a couple of nasty Ling Cod bite-cuts in my finger from the day before.  I knew that the crappy band-aid will never stay on out in the water.  So I'm trying to figure out what to do about it, and then I realized super glue was actually formulated to field dress wounds.  So i super glued my cuts closed - and it worked great.  Held up all day (it's still on) in the water.

I was not paid by super glue for this promo  :smt005
