Yesterday was insane... all blown out for me, but today it did a 360.  Heesup and I headed out to Monterey to meet another friend Matt O. at Lovers Point.  Heesup wanted to practice downtime underwater, I was there just to help him, and we had Matt on scuba if we decided to go very deep.  Once I saw the ocean that morning.. I was like "DAMN, I should of brought the family, kayak, fishing gear, speargun, and all the things to stay down there for the whole day... @*%@(#*#@!#"

Oh... to make matters worse.. put me on the list of knuckle heads that dropped the GoPro.  I kept the GoPro under my hood, so I never would lose it, but Matt wanted to record some footage while diving, so I let him use it.  I then got it back and put it on my head, without putting my hood over it... LOL  Boy did I panic.

Aw man... I was at SWS today and it was super nice.  I drove up 17 to Lovers Point and just about every bit of ocean look super calm.

I was just there with the family to scope out the place, since I haven't been to SWS before.    I still haven't taken my T13 in the salt yet, since i dont have all of the essentials.  I am almost there...   Still need a VHF, a few more reentry session at lake Anderson and then a lesson from MBK.  After that, I will def hit one of you guys up for a hookup.

If you and the family haven't been or want to go to the aquarium, let me know.  I have guest passes :)  And if you want to practice bailing on your kayak and getting back in, let me know.  I can help you with that also.

Thank brother.  I appreciate that.  We have gone quite a bit to the aquarium... We love that place.

I will probably hit you up on the reentry.  I am getting prety comfortable with it, but I want to make sure I have it down solid before going to the ocean.

Hey Chaeki,

Thanks for the vid, it went great with my coffee this morning, I got certified wayyyyyy back in '85 and Lover's point was my first dive after that.

I've always had trouble clearing, and the older I get the harder it gets, not much to offer there, for me a hot shower and hot coffee (no sugars) before I leave the house then real sudafed about an hour before I get in the water.  Really not sure if any of it helps.

Yup, I told Heesup the same, take the real sudafed, minus the coffee since we are freediving.

Dale, you don't want to freedive with us? Come on!!

Wow conditions looked awesome!!! I'm kicking myself for having a sinus infection.

Heesup can gradually try to improve his ability to clear by chewing gum.

Thanks for the vid chaeki.  I do have to say though, if you ever scare me like you did matt, no one will ever hear from you again.  i would have peed then punched you in my best under water chuck norris impersonation.  I got out today to butterfly house and it was amazing.  thanks again for the vid

Nice Video Chaeki.  You've inspired me to make my next outing a spearfishing trip.  I've never dove there, but given its in the reserve, figured there would be more fish.
