Monday 5/30 - ARW Recon Paddle

Monday looks best for weather on the bay, so a couple Loose Screws are planning to hit ARW for some pre-derby recon. Hightide is around 11:15; so were are planning to meet up around 07:30 and on the water by 08:30. That would give us a couple of hours before the turn of the tide to find them butts.

I have to be somewhere at 11, so I may do the dawn patrol till 10.

I'll make bait tonight and see if there is a gap in the wind early Sunday as well. Will report back.

I'll be there if I don't have to stay overnight in Monterey tomorrow.

well me and christinas plan were to fish the bay with my godfather in his boat, but he had to last minute cancel. Sooooo, u just may see us there too! Where Butt Hungry! lol.ricci

I just called Mike's Bait Shop to see if they will be open for business on Monday.
The lady that answered the phone wasn't sure for Mike wasn't there today. I'll
try and call again tomorrow to make sure we have bait.

I may go Sunday and Monday to make up for lost time.  I'll probably sail and troll around.

Weather is looking good for the morning session; so all systems go.

However, looks like the sheep may come out in the afternoon and it might get a little bumpy if we are out to late.

Sharky, you got point; we'll give you a call on the radio when we're OTW and you'll put us on the fish...

Any word on the bait, Jed? will we be able to get hold of some Hali-candy (shiners)?
