Shad and Stripers - Memorial Day Weekend?

Anybody fishing shad and/or stripers this long weekend?   I dont know the rivers well, so would love to tag along.

I hit The american river a few days ago, it was flowing pretty fast, i could barely keep up with the current.
THey were catching plenty of Shad from shore though.

I just bought a 14 foot aluminium PB, i may take to the American River Saturday morning for Shad.
if anyone is interested... or i may hit the delta in my T140  for striper again.

I'm looking to hit the Delta either Sat or Sunday for a little striper / sturgeon action. Not sure where I am going yet but might end up in the Montezuma

i am going to try to hit hte American for shad or go out to the ocean on Saturday for RF.
