I'm running low on Crappie and could use a few.  The fishing's going to be tough due to the weather so be prepared to fish hard!  Company welcome  :smt006.

I'm with you guys, been too long since I hit the port! But scratch the early launch, think I'll go with when ever my butt rolls out of bed! So save me a few keepers!

Oh BTW, for small blue gills for bait Mather Lake off of Rancho Cordova ain't bad.  Friend of mine out that way told be bout it and I was watching 14yo putting good bait size blue gills in bluckets using just power bait and a small hook and string to catch em. Was tempted to buy them off him for bait!

Just a heads-up, while bluegill can be used as bait in the waters from which they were caught, it's against the law to transfer them to another body of water to use as bait.

Probably can't make Friday but looking forward to getting down to the port.

Hey Amir,

I'm going to try and make it.  Have to see how the work load is going to pan out.  What I really need to do is man up like FishWorks and smack them early.

I believe the regs said you can only use bluegills for bait in the Delta, not just any body of water.  However when in doubt, look it up  :smt002

Medium minnows for Crappie and jumbos for Stripers.  I'll have to call Penny bait in west sac to see if they have any in stock.  They have the best prices around. $3.99 a doz for the med and $12.99 a doz for jumbos.  If you really want a shot at a pig you can score some bluegills and fish those.

I haven't setup my fishfinder on my trident yet so I'm fishing blind.  I'll be relying on Ricci =).
