The water is moving a little bit but is still ok to paddle in spots. I was there yesterday for shad up at Harrington. I am going to fish from the bank today between Watt and Howe, hopefully find a striper!

Great first post. Love the story about fishing 24/7. I've slept on my boat with a line out, but never in my own bed. That's so cool. I've probably seen you out at the port this year. You look familiar and I fished there a fair amount over the winter.

I found that I don't use the rod holders all that often when I'm fishing. Instead I usually put the rod across the kayak with the butt under my leg. It's easy to reach and if you don't happen to be looking at your rod you'll still be able to detect the bite. I still use the rod holder at times, but probably 90% of the time it's either in my hands or under my leg.

Watch for posts on the hookup board. I'll be back at the port many times. I'd love to trade fish stories on the water.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
