I fished and paddled my OK T-13 at SWS during the opener for 5 hours using the Camano.  Very minor soreness  after the trip.

I haven't been to the gym in a year because my daughter keeps me busy with her after school activities.  :smt001

jumping on with the Werner crowd.
My girlfriend uses the Camano and has really enjoyed it.
Werner also makes paddles in mens sizes.
Most of Team Bridgeport uses the Corryvreckan(240) in the big boats.
Ill switch to the Sherpa(194) for smaller boats.
I believe a bigger blade forces the bigger boats to be more responsive to my commands. These paddles are not for the folks who look for things to be easier. Basically I look for big, tough, and light.
You will spend 200-300 on a great paddle, and never regret it. You just need to find the right paddle for you. Test some paddles using the boat you use the most to see what fits your paddling style. Werner also has a fitting tool on their website that can help point you in the right direction.
I use a bent shaft and I feel it helps me find my grip,  for blade angle awareness, if im maytaged and/or wasnt paddle in hand for whatever reason.
It also feels like a more natural  and stronger position for me, but the bent shaft isnt for everyone. again, test
Im with Jedmo and recommend trying a smaller diameter shaft if you dont have monster paws.
I hope youll be surprised at how much a great paddle can contribute to a greater experience on the water.
good luck.

I use a Werner Camano 240. Its light and long to clear the width of the T-15. retail around 265.00 if you go the natural bent shaft Camano you will pump the price up by and hundred bucks. If you paddle long distances to wherever you fish or play a lighter but more expensive paddle will do you right. The all carbon fiber blades for me are not worth the extra dough. Dont get me wrong, I would love to have one but cant justify the expense. NCKA gets 10% off at Claveys paddlesports in Petaluma. Tell them you are NCKA when you order. The corryvrecken and the larger blade paddles will move water but they could be harder on your joints over a long haul. I can let you use my Camano 240 at GS you can see if you like it. When you P/U your anchors. Craig
