HobieDave, Daviator and I will be launching at Tidewater Park around 7:30 Wednesday morning.  We have never launched from or fished this particular part of the Bay but we plan to target Stripers and possibly Halibut.  Tidewater is located 1 block South of High Street on Tidewater Ave. in Oakland.  Company welcome.  Channel 69.

Are you planning on launching or unpacking at 7:30?  I could be wrong, but I believe the dock opens at 8am.

Thanks for the "heads up".  I never thought  to check the hours.  Maybe we'll get there around 8 and play it safe.

I asked at the office and you are allowed to wheelie in before 8 when the gate opens. Didnt ask if the dock was closed till 8. Catching a hali in there would be rare. Good luck....

Thanks guys!  I can't wait to try out my new training wheels.  I don't think I'll give them the "stand up and pee test" as HobieDave suggested but it should be a great day on the water considering the weather forecast.  A Striper or two would complete the day.

Congrats!  Very cool design.  I look forward to seeing it in action.  Maybe I'll get a chance to paddle it sometime.

I'll bring it to Tomales this Sunday for the clamming, you're welcome to try out.
