Just received my GoPro in the mail today, I picked out the GoPro Naked 1080, with 16Gb memory, Head-strap, with anti fog pads.  I got the Mako flat lense on order, plus another housing because of the possibility of scratching the lens.

Since I am not sure when I will hit the water, my kayak will be at G-Whiz's house for mod upgrades this Sunday, I decided to take my camera at lunch to Planet Granite to test in Sunnyvale with a couple of coworkers.  What I was trying to figure out is positioning and also lighting.

I got one for my birthday back in December.(HD Hero 960). Wife got it from Costco. To bad the darn thing was defective out of the box. I returned it for a new one and they didn't have it in stock anymore :smt010 So I was bum out. But I still have the $175.00 dollars to add torwards another one. Let me know how you like the one you got. I'm still undecided on which one to get.
So, far i like how that one your using captures the action! That rock climbing takes a lot of skill and energy. My body and hands and feet started to ache just watching the Go Pro Video you just shot. Take care and please share more.

Baitnbeer- your right, short clips take 500Mb to 1Gb... Going to fry's this afternoon to pick up a bigger Kingston.

Alex- I agree, watching it feels like I am redoing it.  Best part now is I can go back and see where I messed up. LOL

Sweet! After seeing that, I went to the web site and ordered one with head strap mount and seat post mount for mountain bike too. Very cool—thanks for sharing.
BTW, their 32GB SDHC 4 Mbps card is over-priced at $99—you can get a faster one (11 Mbps) for $60 if you look around.

There isn't a url mod for SMF forums to show embedded vimeo videos that I can find.  But if you switch to youtube, which now supports HD, you can embed here.

They do have aeva, if installed, would be able to show it.... thats something a admin would have to do though.

where do you suggest I look around to get one for 60.00?  Is Fry's going to be the place?

if you get a second one, please get the 3d casing and let me know.  So I can get a red/blue lense and watch you shoot in 3d.  Youtube accepts 3d video uploads :)
