I want to try riding on those.  It looks fun.

Do you need to have any sailing experience to ride the AI?

Thanks and Happy Easter to everyone.

Bob... there's probably no better sailing craft that's more newbie friendly.  You have the super stability of wide tri-foil design and the ability to pedal yourself out of the dead zones of wind.  The ability to furl (roll up the sail) instantly will help you when you start going too fast.

No kayak company out there knows more about sailing than Hobie.

ChuckE we got another NCKA converted to AI's.  Hai just got his and was in Monterey yesterday for his maiden voyage.  We will be a fleet soon.  Did you make your own trampolines?

Steve, I'm stoked you joined the club (that I'm not yet a member of).

Just wait til you guys get em out in a real fresh breeze.

See you out there...  soon.

ChuckE and any other 2011 Adventure Island owners,

Word is we're getting the newly designed rudder for free per the Hobie AI forum and my Hobie dealer.

I've seen pictures of it and it kinda looks like a shark fin when it's in the upright position (rudder out of water). Supposed to be much more robust for sailing. The way I understand it, it does not work on 2010 or earlier hulls. The 2011 hull mold was changed/strengthened in the back in anticipation of the coming new rudder design.
