Try their US site for prices in dollars ( http://www.windpaddle.com/ ).   :smt002  They are based out of Hood River, Oregon.  The owner, Nick, showed up on NWKA to answer a few questions.  I'll see if he will pop in here.

I saw a guy using something very similar recently.  As long as he was traveling the same direction as the wind was blowing, it worked OK, but not so much if you want to travel up wind or even cross wind.

Martin brings up a good point.  It looks like you can maneuver it to a certain degree but there's a larger dead area compared to the hobie sail.  I have the regular sail if you wanted to test it out on a calm day (it might be scary w/out amas).

yeah... it only looks good for a down wind ride.... think I will just stick to getting the Hobie Sail; but it sure does look quick and convenient....

I just ordered a parasail from Ebay for 12$ and going to see how that works for pulling my kayak  :smt044  I could definitely see this being fun at places like Del Valle where the wind always seems to blow in one direction in the afternoon, back twards the launch ramp.   :smt003

I tried an umbrella and it works great so long as you want to go the direction the wind is blowing, but the thing kept turning inside out every time there was a strong gust.

Try one of these "unbreakable" umbrella:
