Dozens of salmon were caught at the Cove yesterday - all within yak range.

I'll be one of the, postmarked just in time!

I may have to roll down a day earlier for a full couple days of trolling!

The hard line I'm holding on the registration deadline is a gift to all those who signed up on time and also to me because I'm moving on to planning based on the established list of participants.  Thanks to all who have signed up and who will get postmarked by tomorrow.  Late hopefuls:  please come hang out with us - fish, potluck, dive, have fun, but be understanding of the fact that no one participates in the prizes unless they signed up on time.

I decided to have an ingenious wood cratsman that I know make me a custom Hawg Trough.  I'm calling it the Trophy Trough, and that's only after I met it in person - it turned out cool.     I paid a pretty penny, so it's not a production item.  I thought the winner of GS5 might enjoy it along with a badass kayak.

The beauty, Jim, is that it's built to withstand putting a nice fish on it - hopefully we'll be able to break it in right.  I'd love to see AOTD holding a big salmon, cab, rocky or ling on the trough for a photo at the awards ceremony potluck.

Awesome prizes, especially that hawg trough trophy!!  The detailed finish on the trough is perfect, can;t wait to see the winning fish on that trough
