I am lookng for the rails that mount under the tonneau cover and allow you to put a rack over the bed.  Any suggestions?

I had a cover on my Tacoma, but I decided to take  it off for the moment and got a Thule Xsporter, it works really great so far. I figure for the summer its better that I have the cover off.

You might consider a hitch mounted ladder/lumber rack, then mount a rain gutter mounted roof rack to your cab.  It depends how long your kayak.

Here is a guy with a similar set-up on a Tacoma, and he has a tonneau cover to boot!

Its about half way down the page.

thats the set up I had on my F150 when I needed the bed space. Worked great. The cover opened most of the way when the yak was on the rack
