Another trick that works great is to seal the whole you've made in the nail with super glue to keep infection out. My brother just did that with his toenail. Works like a charm.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

Eric you need to go fishing that's just wrong  :smt011
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

well, it started to swell up even more so I decided to see the doc - they poked the nail once with a small needle hand drill. It drained some blood out but because I waited too long, not much came out (blood dried out). They also poked both sides of the skin next to the nail and there was some dead brown blood that spilled out.  :smt011

Then got a tetna shot after....left arm feels like jello.

I hate getting poked  :smt012

The worse part is that I was given clearance by my doc to go free diving (until further notice at least) and I was so looking forward to getting into the water again.  :smt012

Hey Sally.....how exactly is a little hangnail preventing you from diving  :smt061?

Oh #$CK!!!!!
This has to go down as the first post in NCKA history I wish I didn't look at.
Was it the peer pressure that got to ya or did you find the vandals and teach them a lesson???
