Was told by friend , gunsmith, that my 308 was a grenade ready to go off. So I have some rounds to sell. oh if a miracle could happen a 308 barrel to trade for a 257 roberts. :smt003 pm me

If you handload, there is also the option of downloading to lower pressures in the .308.

How will I shoot yotes at 2000yds. it already has a 41ft drop. Taking a chance with a hand load is not worth it.

Well, this one time, at band camp, I shot a coyote with my 99 Savage in .300 and a tang sight at 2500 yards. It was a good thing that it was a ladder type sight though, as without that 100' of elevation, I'd of had to resorted to Kentucky windage. Yep...

Actually no, the barrel was fire lapped, equipped with a shepherd scope set to a match 168 gr. bullet with kill rings at 12 inches. 5 mile cross wind 70 degrees temp. with witnesses. yes I missed by approximately 6 in.
