We have two paddle kayaks. The wife has a Cobra Escape, and I have a Cobra Navigator. I have to admit the hobie line up looks nice.

The "dark side" force is getting stronger.  I can feel it  :smt003

I like shallow water and some dense areas as well as my "dry" kayak so paddling works well.  I would think that a Hobie owner could really make time pedaling and paddling at the same time.   I have 4 paddle kayaks.

So the oldest daughter is turning 4 in April and I've already planted the seed for a Hobie Sport for the 5th b-day.  :smt003

That would bring us up to 3 Hobies.  Now I just need to figure out to how incorporate a Revolution into the picture.  :smt044

It's not as useful to do that as you would think....it is nice to be able to paddle when you are tired of pedaling however.

I think it really depends on which Hobie you have.  The Outback is a great fishing machine but it's a barge to paddle.  The Revo paddles very well but lacks the great storage areas and stability of the Outback.  If I could have two yaks, I would have a Revo and an Outback.

I paddle...Malibu X-Factor. But when my ship comes in, I'd like to add a Hobie to my tiny fleet.  :smt044

OK Prowler 15. My one and only kayak - love that boat.
BUT I'm not that loyal; I'd consider a Hobie.
