Penn 309

Not much need for this reel , been sitting unused for 10 years , a friend gave it to me upon moving to MO , not much need for it there . Would be interested in trading it for a L/XL  Kayak style PFD or ? for fishing or kayaking .
Reel was just cleaned / lubed yesterday ( nothing better to do while its pouring ) and is in very good condition , no corrosion ! If someone wants to buy it , $30 plus shipping , real deal if you can pick it up !

Was a time when I was close to your age that I would put on a set of waders / rain coat and fish ALL day/night in the pouring rain and often for nada . As I got older I pick my fishing days to be more enjoyable , tomorrow will be a 30% chance of rain , the best day we have had in a week - I will be sturgeon fishing with my youngest son , Greg . 

How is the river looking ? Waiting for it to raise back onto the berms and do a little catfishing .

is it a casting or jigging reel?  What else might you be looking for?
