I've reading a lot of posts about folks buying SealSkinz Waterproof Socks only to have a bad experience with water leakage.

Well I went through the same experience.  The first two times I used them it leaked once and other time my feet stayed dry.
So I called them up the manufacturer direct and was instructed to fold the top elastic part down to double the water seal and keep air out.

I've been doing this for 2 years have not had experienced any leakage(not once  :smt001).  For ocean fishing I always wear them with my FJ and inside booties.  You will experience some moisture inside after the end of a trip but this from your feet perspiring from hauling gear around.

After you wash them make sure to dry both sides or water will get trapped on the inside.

I love mine.

I have two pairs that leak. I am going to fold down the top to check out what you are saying; however, I am wondering if that will just leave a bigger lip to collect the water....and by the way the company would not return my emails or phone calls. :smt013
