I have already talked to Marv and Joel. Albion is going to be for Marvs benefit. We raised some good dough and had some fun last year. Joel, I love you man. I want everyone to know that Joel is down 100% for this one. Jim , you are great!

I'd rather be built like Mario Lopez, than to run as fast as John Edwards.  Unfortunately, I'll never amount to either LOL. 

Porky, there's lots of non-running events.  Tons of T in T people are tri-geeks, or do straight up cycling.  You should ask Tim Naylor in Legal, I'm sure he's got the scoop.  be fun to go bust one together sometime.

Team ShickenMooch just got a new member....my Dad!!

 

Yes, my 72 year old Dad has begun training to do the 26.2 Mile Full Marathon as well!!!

 

He has done several Half Marathons, but has never tried a full...he will be trying to help me with fundraising in New Orleans, doing his very best to complete the whole race, and staying on a few extra days with me to visit local breweries AND to try and catch a Pacific Halibut in Seward!!

Getting ready to head out to my first training at Soquel High Track!!! Will be easing into it today and seeing how my back holds up!!

Also, Team ShickenMooch has got another member...and a fast one too!! 

My good buddy Miguel Orejel (member of Team Mandilon, Team Margie and Team Mooch and my partner in crime at the Royal Victoria Marathon) has committed to raising an additional $4,000 for Cancer research and will be coming along for the adventure in Alaska!!!

Very excited to have him join up and looking forward to training and fundraising with him!!

We are going to be raffling off an iPad and when we have details we will post them up here (anybody who has already made a donation will get tickets for their donation as well!!).

Training went well today and my back is not that sore....I think I need to ice it for a few hours tomorrow though....in my wetsuit...in the ocean...with a speargun in my hand.
