You Bet Al!  This weekend I plan on installing the mother of all fishfinders....Humminbird 1198c SI Combo.

yes you read that right. Side scan, 8000 watts, dual beam, gps and chartplotter.  (I may order the espresso machine accessory for those cold mornings)

I have to put an anchor pulley on it, I'll use stock OK pulley, but have a couple ideas to pull the lines down so they stay along the side of the boat.
A single scotty or two up fron.  One for trolling and one for camera mount.

Triple rod holders behind the little well back of the seat, which will be converted to a built-in bait tank.

(Pant, pant)

I'll document all.

Allen

You bet!  I only got one this year, and it was on a PB.  Still a thrill, but just doesn't have the total "cachet."

"Oh yea, that is one sexy yak! "
"I want one...oh so bad..."

O.K. Allan,
This is a nice boat and I have been looking at the same yak for several months in the shop - I'm So Jealous.
The good news is that there is a good chance that I will be getting rid of this same model at the end of my "2011" series of events :headbang: but don't tell anybody (it's still a secret).
Oh Yah,
Please stop by the F.W. booth at ISE Sac. and say hi - I'll be there through Saturday.

See Ya there,

haha you got that right!  Even I think it's a bit overkill, but I can't wait to see what this baby will do, esp the side scan feature.  It won't show me halibut on the deck, but for sure will pick up schools of fish or bait, and the image is almost 3D of structure.

also the chartplotting gps is precious.

I'll be keeping a close watch on this thread, and any others that pop up on the 4.7
I'm most interested in the reports on the boat at this time next year, after people have really had a solid season. I know that it took a full season of use before you started to hear about things some individuals dislike about the Tridents.

It sure is a slick looking boat though, congrats!  :smt006

Thats an awesome yak Allen, it even looked nicer in person when I got to check it out at the Sportsmans Expo. Thanks for the fishing tips by the way.
