had some time with the kiddos took a long nap....I figured I try my hand and some "spoons" came out pretty good. We'll see how they work. I didn't have the energy to tie bucktails so I added some crappie tubes to the hooks. Not bad looking if I say so myself. They weigh about 1/2 oz each. Should flutter real nice on the drop. Now if I could just find some stripers!

Hey you can't say I didn't try.  I was on the radio for a good 20-25 minutes...its not my fault you were too busy playing around in the power boaters wake.   :smt044

They look great Eric!  I wonder how they would work trolled?  They look like they may have a nice roll, something a salmon would like.  Did you stamp or paint the scales on?  I may have to hit the delta when the water recedes for some Striper action myself.

I actually just stretched some mesh (came from a fwy trash safety vest score, bad I know) I just used some rattle can black and then hit it with some red on the nose. Pretty light for trolling (unless you are thinking surface). Maybe I need to score some tablespoons  :smt005

When I can sell a spoon for $5/ea and a knife jig for $7/ea...Oh and ppl are lined up out the door to buy 'em! I've always laughed when people say find what you love to do and make it your job. I did that (was a personal chef for about a year) and began to hate to cook!

Reminds me of a joke.

Guy is selling apples for $1 million dollars each. A passer by stops and says "You will never sell an apple for a million dollars" the seller looks back and says "I only gotta sell one"

So anyone want to buy a million dollar knife jig? I will toss in a spoon for free.
