Of course it is alright Jed. We would love to have you on the crew. Feel free to wear whatever you want. Scott, I love cioppino but i also think grilled fish would be a great option for tacos. It is nice to have as a healthier option to the fried fish. My wife was just saying how the fried fish tacos use up too many of her weight watcher points.

I'll donate any fish I end up keeping to fish tacos.

I can throw my efforts into the taco stand with some grilled fish, slaw and sauce or make the cioppino. The boys really like the cioppino but is a little more work and needs bowls and spoons. I can go either way and will let Eric decide since he is hosting.

Guaranteed bowls and spoons!   :smt003

The King has spoken. I will cook the Shelter Cove Cioppino. Will have to bring some crab up since there are no dungies at Shelter Cove.  :smt005

My wife has agreed to bake some cookies and or some brownies.  Home-made, no mixes in our kitchen.  The house smells like cookies even when you cook fish in the ovens.  The ovens have baked enough cookies to permanently imbed the fragrance in it's walls and racks.  I'll be putting together a special ale for the event.  Hobiedave has committed  to assisting with the bottling. I can also assist with the cooking at the taco bar.  Any chance of anyone else brewing for the occasion?  A 5 gallon batch is only about 48 bottles.

I will do my best to make a batch. Guess I need to think about it soon so it has time to bottle age!

Do you need additional help with food prep? I can also help in the kitchen or on the food line.

Or I can just make a filipino dish called: "Palabok" it's a noodle dish with a shrimp-base sauce; and toppings.

Right on, G.  There's not really anyone in charge of the potluck.  We all just bring a dish to share.  As tournament director, I do provide plates, bowls, utensils, paper towels, trash planning, and a table or two.  The rest is up to the group, and it's a beautiful organic process.  Just bring what you need to present your dish, and maybe consider also bringing anything that you think may assist the process.  With about 200 or more of us crowded onto the patio above the beach at The Tides it can get a little crazy, but what a great crazy it is!

Can't wait!   :smt001
