Fakies are no problem, it's the tre-flip that is giving me fits.

congratulations, we've successfully narrowed the thread down to something only 4 people will understand. :smt002

make that 3 people.  I draw the line at semi-vert 180's   LOL

BTW I'm thinking of selling my giant skate ramp if anyone is interested.....gotta make room for an airstream trailer, and my son is not interested anymore.  I will subsist on the skate park, I guess.....16X32"

Ha!  I'm trying to get a 1/4 pipe out of my garage to make room for more fishing gear as we speak.

Anyway picked up the Trevala at Western Sport on my way through town this morning - For the record it was not 20% off, but still a good value at $99 I thought.  If the rain stops like the weather man says it's going to, it'll debut at the Port of Sacramento tomorrow come high tide.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.

That's messed up I bought one Sunday for Craig and it was $87.39 OTD
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

Sweet xmas gift ex!
I've been looking on line at those Trevalas - lifetime warranty I think.
Been wondering what to spend money on during the "off" season.

It is hard not to appreciate that rod once you really check them out - I'll let you know how it performs OTW - stoked about the reel too of course.

you will love it....its like an old girlfriend. You get others that are "better" but you keep coming back to "that" one. I got the ML and MH. The MH is waiting for that awesome albie bite when I can toss some iron and hold on

What is the model you ended up with... I have been reading and wondering what to do myself. Would this be a good rod for rockfish and lings?

I went with the TVC70L

I think you may want to look at the TVC70ML for rock fish, but for my river needs, the 70L is perfect.  I suspect when I put together a rockfish rig, I'll pick up the ML.  Can't be mad at a rod that gets bloody the first time out...
