I don't know where all that other crap came from Jim...but I only packed 1 tupperware w/all my yak&dive gear, my clothes, rods&reels, orange marine box, and an inflatable air mattress.

Jimbo - they run like 12-22 miles north for Pacific 'buts around Punta Gorda and along the Lost Coast between there and the Cove.

Humboldt Tuna Club has the best local fishing info for Humboldt.

While many of the powerboats head south to the Old Man and the Hat it's actually the case that most of the salmon that have been caught have been out near the Whistle - 1 mile in front of the hotels.

We will be finishing a ab/spearfishing dive about this time tomorrow!!!!

I saw the warden at my favorite lunch spot 30 minutes ago - they'll be there in force!  I told him that we've been reviewing rules and such - he said there were no problems with our group last year.  Let's keep it that way!  I told him that I've made it clear to all competitors that the group will not defend a participant who breaks DFG rules.

I'm having a hard time holding it together and just hope to sleep tonight...   

Too much work to finish and not enough time with major distraction.  Argh.....  It will be all over soon.  After work and a HS Chorus Concert I should be able to focus on the important stuff and start loading up.
