Page 59 you say!  :smt003

I can hardly wait.  I am loading tackle boxes, just got some new boots to wear on the kayak, oiled the reels, and dreamed about big fish the hole time!  I have some killer creations to try out this year!  I made up some squid heads like EWB's.  I traded him some lures for the squids last year.  They killed the ling cod at Trinidad!  I also can't wait to try my octopus.  I painted up some knife jigs like kelp and rock greenling to try out.  It is a lot of work, but that wood Hog Tough will make it worth it  :smt003

I need to finish getting my salmon gear ready.  I am only taking a small box to give it a try.  Some purple and watermelon apex, and some barbless hooks and a few dodgers for anchovies.  I will be trying the lake troller plates this year.  They go down between 20 ft and 120 ft, but don't seem to drag as bad as my Deep 6.  That Deep 6 can make me go in circles!

I feel pretty good about the North Valley Slayers chances this year!

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
