Thanks for the kudos! The pix don't do it justice though. Just after it died, and I had walked up to it, that's when it's colors were marvelous, blood and all. It was just minutes after sunrise, with dew still on the ground. You get my drift.
The birds strutting around in the day's first light were the really cool looking ones!
I'm eating some of the breast right now. Damn good.
