Friday HMB Crab 11-12-10

Ive seen talk about it.  Now I just want to do a roll call to see who's going.  I'll be there, I'm planning on launching around 6-6:15.  Sunrise is at 6:45.  I'm gonna let them soak till about 2 or 3.  Sounds like people want to go deep, thats cool with me.  So who's in?

If the winds stay under 10 kts, I'll make an appearance with a friend for a late morning run on Friday. Sounds like you'll have been on the water for a while already. If we see you out there, we'll hale you on ch. 69. Best of luck to you.

What can I say?  I love crab!  gelbyak, its all business when I get out there.  Im gonna paddle out, drop traps, and get the hell back.  In the morning the winds are gonna be just under 10kts according to the forecast, and 15 in the afternoon, its gonna suck, but I love crab.  During the day Im gonna see if I can catch some surf perch I guess.  Pablo, the beginning of next week is looking good so far!

If swell conditions are do-able, I'll join you.  I'll be bringing my 12 yr old son and his friend.

I'll be there but I was able to bum a ride. I might go on sat. for a quick pick up depending on how fri. goes.

I have a shrimp/minnow collapsible trap that I'm going to try - thanks for the inspiration John.  It might not be the best trap to use, but I'll give it a go before buying a rigid one.

One of the only good things about being laid off is being able to fish on weekdays.  Now I know that we have the same days off, we can fish together more   

It will be interesting to see what you get with that shrimp trap, Johns got me interested too.

Yeah, I dont know how many "hardcore" night missions I have left in me.  Not a lot, thats for sure.  John, you still want to go deep tomorrow?  I was thinking of dropping two deep and two shallow.
