Pretty slick Eric! I bet they will work great! You have inspired me to try and dream something up this winter as well.

Looking real good! I can't wait to see the variations.

How about handing one off to someone who's fishing the closure?  I'm sure they'll get good results before getting snagged.  :smt003

Yes, I've seen alot of success with the new type of lures/jigs. these out preformed diamond bars as they have a prettier presentation. u should make a bunch during off season- various color, size and different weight shapes i.e. diamond bar. i would buy a few from u...

Very cool, Eric!  Those look a lot like one of the jigs I brought back from Japan a couple of years back.  Only I paid about $12 for mine, if I recall... :smt012

yeah that was the inspiration there are a couple of makers of that style. I just can't/won't accept paying +$10 for a RF lure.

I like the idea of corking the hoochie. When we made some halibut trolling rigs we put a small scampi inside the hoochie. They look great Eric.

dang it! I wanted to try one, but I'm having trouble finding small torpedo weights. All i found so far were some ones that looked to be about 2 pounds, they were as big as my fist..lol. Figured I did'nt need to go that deep.
