We will meet at 9 at the beach. I went out yesterday and limited with my rings off two pulls! They are thick but the meat is lean on the crabs so far. Looks like the best year I've seen so far.

 :smt011seems that I misread my calendar. I cannot go Sunday, but Saturday is open.

Any room for a newbie. Went up to Oregon twice with my son and traps; however, have not been once on the CA coast and would love to say I did it. Still going out Sunday? I teach Saturday, but could maybe drive over... 4 hour drive... ugh! When does the commerical season start? The following weekend may look better.?

The Commercial season starts the begining of next month I think.

I'll be out both days I think.  Probably around 8-8:30.  I got an easy limit yesterday in three pulls.

I will be launching off beach at 8

I'll still be there at 9. I gave that time to 5 people meeting so I'll just see you on the water.

Looks like Domenic and I will be there for Sunday.

Darn, my trailer is being worked on, Next week would be great. If I drive the 4 hours I may want to do both Sat and Sun. I guess it all depends on the weather. This is killing me... love the water! Are you launching in the harbor or ocean side? I have only been in salt inside jaws/bars and have not attempted a beach launch yet. Hope you do well this weekend!

It's banging 10' out there right now - no one's going to be beach-launching the west side of the Head today!
