Has anyone floated/fished the Sac around Red Bluff? Is it even possible in a kayak? The salmon season is open, and the trout fishing is probably good with eggs/egg patterns.
Going with some friends using one-man pontoon boats, but I'd rather kayak if possible. I'm a novice kayaker with no river experience.
Any advice/info will be appreciated.
Thanks, Jim

Let's go fishin', and don't look back, cuz you'll never see a hearse with a kayak rack!

You'll have no problems w/ your yak, it can get a little swirly but that's about it.  Egg patterns behind the salmon redds should keep you guys busy.  Just remember that salmon is closed above the diversion dam now too.
