If the spot forecast holds then I'm going to try and make it.

The public fish cleaning station at Bodega is nice and handy for cleaning fish on the way home.

There is a public use boat launch about 1/2 mile past spud point marina.  The fish cleaning station is @ the ne side of the parking lot by the boat wash.

Will the "fort" be open on a weekday? It was open all summer and up to a couple weeks ago but don't know if they are open as "usual"?

where is the launch...?

damn....split posts....
heres info from the other post re: location...
thx sonny and chadrock for posting direction

Its ez to find, there is a little gravel road at the end of the parking lot, when it forks go to the left.  you will pass an older house mcall house?  after that the fort will be on your left and there is another gravel road that is off to the right, follow that all the way down and you will be able to unload, it is a short maybe 45yd walk to the surf from there.

Good news on the beer front!  I just opened and sampled the first bottle of the batch.  It has a nice rich creamy head and a good balance of malt and hops.  Not as hoppy as some I have brewed but IMHO it's a winner.  It's right at 7% ABV.  It should be just right for an after "catching" celebration.  I only bottled 22's this time so I'll bring cups if anyone wants to share.  See you guys at the Fort at 7:00.

Martin

E-mail sent to boss. See y'all tomorrow morning.

If the drift cooperates I'm hoping to head North from the Fort and fish a little bit of deeper water.

i want to go, took the time off, but the WX are not the 4-6ft they said it would be, instead it is a 6-8ft swell = not conducive with Adam having a goodtime on the water. :smt010

have fun, be safe and hook some fish!

Dude, it's pretty much the same forecast as it was for the RBC!

It's gonna be FAC and you're going to be kicking yourself for not going!  =  (I miss Adam and want to fish with him!)
