I know most of you buy the newspaper to look at the fishing report on Thursdays.  For those that don't get that info here is what it had to say about the sturgeon bite.

South bay Sturgeon wide open Tuesday @ the Oakland Airport. 12 dino's for 10 boaters.  Herring spawn at Coyote point sparked a good bite there as well.

San Pablo Bay sturgeon bite good with stripers in the area as well.

South side of mothball fleet good.

That should do it.

Sorry if I left something out.

Good stuff, thanks,  I was at coyote yesterday collecting herring roe and fishing, no bites during the day whatsoever but reports were that they were biting on the income at night.  JTF..

I may try to head to either Coyote, Oak, or Oyster over the weekend. I know bucks is hot, but those places are in my backyard and seem to offer a good chance.  with the weather system coming in on Fri and Sat I think Sun would be a good bet.

That's my plan too, I'll check the reports on coastside, ect, and figure out where the best bet is for sunday.  All the weekend warriors out on sat aught to provide good recon info.  Last I checked sunday wasn't supposed to rain either.

Here's what Nels Johnson in today's Marin IJ has to say about sturgeon @ China Camp ($38 for eel bait!) :smt013...also some good info about the Coastside forums at the Fred Hall show.
