I'm thinking about it. Sarah is wanting to go to the hand-car regatta in Santa Rosa though. We'll see. It's predicted to be a bit ugly right now. I hope that changes. Maybe I'll see you.

David, thanks for the info...if the wx won't cooperate, I might just join Lapu-Lapu tomorrow to hunt ghost in Monterey.

Since you guys have inside knowledge, a quick question:

I'll be heading down to Santa Rosa to stay with some family for the weekend, was thinking of heading over to Bodega to jump on a cattle boat to fish Sunday (wife has already declared this a no-yak trip).  I have zero knowledge of the area, other than reading the reports from you guys!  Weather looks to be crap:
Sun...NW winds 10 to 20 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. W swell 7 to 9 ft.

Better off saving my $100 to spend on brew?

Dont buy beer. Buy fishing equipment. 100 dollars of beer just goes down the toilet. A nice rug maybe. Hahaha. The only boat in Bodega might be the New Sea Angler and I wouldnt ride that tub if I had nothing to fish with.300 rockfish pulled from Ft Ross last week in one. Wont be part of that slaughter. Just my opinion mind you. You asked.
