MBK WSB hunt Tuesday 8/31/10

Although the reports given to me from friends/locals who have gone fishing this week have said that the wsb action has been slow since the epic Tuesday, I'll be planning to hit it once again this Tuesday in hopes that it will be another epic day

I'm hoping to be otw by 6:00am. If anyone's interested, company is always welcome!!

I WANT to go, but sure would like to know that something is going on and not the nothing I met with last week. It's a long drive from Crockett. I'll wait for more reports.

I can definitely understand about being hesitant to chase for ghosts when action is slow. Tbh, it seems that it has been very slow ever since epic Tuesday. I have a couple buddies who've been going regularly, and both have had lil luck (3 wsb total in 4 days of fishing). Saturday seemed ok with report from our local fish market, saying that 3 boats had caught 11 between them. Sunday just the opposite: LingKing and friends were out there from 5:45am-5pm with nada. As they rolled in a volunteer from DFG stated that he measured only 1 wsb that entire morning/day.

Things don't look too promising as of now, but weather is getting better through the week and the bite has been slow for too many days. It's about time for them to start getting hungry!!

Just wanna relay today's report with the rest of the family. I hope that I don't cause raucous or upset anyone for sharing, but I heard that today's action was off the hook similar to epic Tuesday's action.

Can you confirm the "off the hook" reports? Is it, once again, too late? OH NOOOOO!

Well the report I got is from a trustworthy friend who's working as commercial deckhand. He's been fishing literally everyday for the wsb, and have been giving me daily updates along with the local fish market. This friend had been helpful to me, take it for what it's worth.

I don't know how much I'm getting into this idea/theory, but this is only my personal observation. The past several days since Friday, I've been trying to buy fresh squid from the local fish market at the wharf. Unfortunately, they had none available; they informed me that none of the commercial boats were able to catch squid. That was until last night, when they brought in loads. Is it ironic that fishermen were having challenges catching the ghosts this past week when squid were not dominantly present, and now wsb action fishing was good today after squid has arrived again last night?

Andy & Hai, sorry that both can't make it. I can definitely understand with work and all, andIi am definitely not trying to get anyone fired lol!!

For me, weekends are difficult for fishing since I own a small retail store, and weekends are my busiest days in sales. It's hard to sit and work on the weekends, knowing that my brothers and sisters are having fun together, like yesterday's MBK hangout! Had it all planned, until my employee called in the morning with stomach pain issues after eating raw oysters the night before. Was pretty bummed about that, but am very, very happy to hear that my employee is feeling better!!

Anyways, I'll keep you guys posted with tomorrow's fishing as well as the week leading up to the weekend. Good luck brothers!!

Will do Andy!! Shit, I'm just gonna fish right next to his boat and follow him around tomorrow, with the damn success he's pulling them out since the start lol. And he's the one that actually offerred me to "tag along" with my yak I've got your number, so I'll keep you posted brother as well as anyone else

Thank you Jed for your encouragement!! I hope that Ryan & Ryan's brother catches 1 tomorrow before I catch another. After they catch one, then I won't mind landing another 

As for a piece, shoot, I'll give you an entire side of the fish for you and your family!!
