2011 and 2012 was the last solid bite, though a few are caught every year.  Here's to hoping for 2017

Lately, it seems like everything I chase have become ghosts.

Kinda interesting how many Ocean Kayak Prowlers are in these pictures, really was the best, lightest platform during the last WSB wave.

Finally get to post something on this board. Last weeks trip to SoCal paid off.

What next?  So massive da fish....shakkah brahhdah....

They have been getting a few (much smaller) in the San Francisco Bay lately (last couple weeks), some even from shore!

I wanna catch those really bad. If anybody will make a hookup, sign me in

Funny... USAFishing reports had an (undocumented) rumor of a few WSB coming out of Tomales in the past few weeks also.  I know they have been caught there many times in the past.  They seem to be around the North Bay right now.

I had not noticed this particular thread for white seabass before in the picture section and I was surprised to see no recent posts. I know of at least one NCKA member catching one last week in Tomales. 

In any case, I'm adding one from August of last year, just to get everyone's juices flowing again on the hunt for the white ghost.  I have caught a lot of them over the years, having grown up and fished So Cal into my early 30's, but my personal best came from the amazing fishery that is Tomales Bay.  Right at about 60 pounds before bleeding.  Enjoy,
