I can't seem to find the post that talked about making the Sturgeon pot size fish length a little smaller than the actual limit size.

I like the idea of making it a little smaller, I would hate to see someone get a fine from trying to keep a fish that is hard to measure in an attempt to win the pot, but it would be nice to keep within the spirit of catching a big fish in order to win    maybe we could just say the size is 69" inches then it would be enough under the limit to not cause someone to get a fine but be in the spirit of the competition as well. besides most of our members probable like that number anyway  :smt002 just a guess.

Maybe the sturgeon pot should be for the fish that's closest to a 'perfect' keeper.  59 inches.
