you technically need a net whenever you fish from any boat.

28.65(d) ... No person shall take finfish from any boat or other floating device in ocean waters ...

Too bad to, likely someday someone somewhere will overturn, tangle in all the crap, net included and drown.  I hope not.

Geeze. I thought it was net in the bay - not in the ocean. I had it backwards. Glad to have it straightened out. I like the lobster bag solution, too bad mine has a 12" opening  :smt011
