This is going to be such a good time...
We have some awesome characters showing up and even setting up tables to show off their goods.
Chris Chaput from Sea Sniper will be there showing off a few guns and his new clothing line.
Josh from Neptonic Systems will be there along with John Banks and his new bitchin dive boards.  If you haven’t seen these boards yet you need to stop by and check them out.
If you don't want to dive in the event, stop on by anyway as there will be plenty to see and your open to put some money in the silent auction or the raffle.
The ocean looks like it is going to be near perfect and the sun will be shining.
See you all there...

Damn, conditions look great... wish there wasn't a scheduling conflict with the PCC's.   :smt009

Here is a re-post from Jim Martin about the Randy Fry and the resuilts,

ABALONE DIVISION:
1. PAUL BRAND (HIS FIRST BIG TEN) 10.042"
2. TODD BAILES 9.614"
3. BRAD FREELOVE 9.394"

This was probably the best weather we've ever had at the Big X but attendance was down from last year's record turnout. Even so, there was a great group of divers and a lot of familiar faces. We raised more than $2,000 for the RFA-NorCal Chapter, and signed up a bunch of new and renewing members.

There were 43 competitors and a stellar 30 foot visibility according to some reports. The conditions were so nice a lot of people kept diving and missed the weigh in altogether. Warm, sunny and flat!

The raffle prize table was full and there was a lot of interest in the Phil Herranen custom speargun bonus raffle. Josh from Neptonics won the gun – I think he owes Tino big time!

Thanks to all the volunteers – Dave Whittington & his wife, and Karl, Tino, Matt.

Matt Mattison and Santino ("Tino") Bernazanni received the 2010 "Randy Fry Award" for their exemplary volunteer service as RFA members.

I have to say it was a suprise and Honnor to win the Randy Fry award. I was just happy with helping and giving back to the sport.
here are a few pics

It was a great trip very nice day lots of great people. Great food, made a few new friends.

If anyone is around Sea Ranch and comes across a floatline and kelp carrot attached to an ab bar Rich would like to get it back it was the first bar he made.

He lost it when the fog socked in friday.  You can PM me or Matt can track down rich as well.

Here are a couple of photos
