I see the Feather River is now open for salmon and was wondering if anyone floats down this section in search of salmon? It sounds like a fun float so not sure how far this float is and if they are catching anything yet. Any insight would be great.

I did it a few years ago with Travis.
That river is really really shallow in a lot of spots. A lot is not fishable. There are some good holes tho.
We went from Star Bend County Access boat launch to right behind the River Oaks Golf Club. It was just about a 10 mile float.
Have some roleze or wheeleze waiting for you....trust me on that one.

That last pic is beer can beach. Fished just down river from there last Sun. Fish jumping but no takers. Sometimes good there though.

Thought that was the name but I wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
