The dude who showed up because he was going over the bridge and saw all the kayaks and campers was Keith Keahi from Maui.

Craig, it's really a small world. A few years back I sold keith his Ocean Kayak when I was still working at Aquan. I did mention to him about the NCKA family but I guess he did the lurker thing for a while. Anyway, I'm glad he stopped by and stayed for the weekend.

Keith. it's time you stop lurking and chime in  :smt006

Cheers to Tote and Becky for the Tiki bar, oysters and fun. It was great to meet your friends. Big thanks to Jonez for all the fishing tips and a belly full of abalone. Looking forward to fishing with you. Don Dodge, Thanks for being the only one around when it was rockin out there, great fishing with you brother. To Bigfoot and TBone, you guys are my family. To Mooch, great to see you brother and thanks for making me laugh and cry so hard. It was also cool to meet Dennis Spike. I was on his yakfihing board back when that's all there was. And finally, a lttle story of a cabezon.  :smt003 A cabezon caught on wednesday before the tourny. A cab that was weighed , photographed and released. Apparently when there is no corpse, accusations of BS arise. NCKA members (I won't mention Montana's name), strangers, even the game warden implied that I might be lying.  :smt044 So in my own defense, here is what an 11 pound cabbie from Albion looks like.   :smt102

I would like to give a huge thanks to everyone for posting up so many pics of this awesome event. My wife is into scrap booking big time and usually comes away from our vacation trips wishing she had more pics. She and I keep looking through these threads and are constantly amazed at the quality of the pictures everyone took. They'll make that weekend last forever. A special thanks to Fishmaster 1 who captured the best pic of my son I've seen so far and the only one of me with my game clip of small fish from Saturday.

Aslo, thanks to the guys who took Rich and my kids up the river Saturday afternoon. The kids loved that. Thanks BigJim for loaning my son your big yak. You're a first class guy. I'm glad to call you and many others my friend.

I can't wait for next year. The atmosphere in camp was like nothing I've ever been a part of before.

Thanks to everyone who made this happen.  :smt006
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
