Interesting reference link, Joel. Some excellent observations and perspectives - I learned a lot about how to rate and choose "features" from the posts. Tx for referring it.

I thought the P15 (prowler right), and the T 15, both had the same bottom to them. The main difference was T 15 added the rod pod and sonar shield and seat may have been raised a little. They should both have the same stability, unless the seat was elevated. but im 210 lbs and ive never had an issue with stability on the T15 even with a 30 lb fish on.

As for the T 15  vs T 160, 160 i think paddles a little better, but T 15 has much more convenient storage. Ive yet to have an issue with hull integrity from having a rod pod.

and FYI
T 15 >> T 13, the 13 just does not paddle as well

P15 and T15  bottom hulls are very different.  T15 has wider flats and a chine along the rail.

Still pretty much equivalent in stability, with just a tech more in the T15, IMO.

............ I have a T-15, Scupper Pro TW, Caper and a Wilderness Pamlico13.5 Double. For diving its the SPTW. When we go to sierras Momma and I fit quite nice in the Pamlico and can smoke my bro and his wife in thier canoe. The Caper is for rivers, slow rivers. The T-15 is the one I want when sitting in SPB with 10knots of wind on a 7ft outgo. Nice and dry and stable.

Craig, shouldn't you have posted these in the classifieds section...maybe Mooch will move it for you :smt044

kayaks are like women. If you find the right one, you only need one. I use my t-140 for diving, fishing, setting crabpots, class II whitewater and everything in betweeen. I wish the kayak manufacturers would focus more on improving the hydrodynamics and hull designs and less on the cupholders and bricabrack.

Amen Jack, Give me my current kayak with more of a rocker (upturned nose) and it's perfect!

There in lies the problem. Most guys have to go through many to find the right one. The process of finding the right one can be both painful and expensive. I reccomend taking a lot of test rides first.
